1996 PACE CAR DECAL KIT

May 26, 1996 saw the Viper return to pace the 80th Indy 500 just five years after the first RT/10 was chosen to lead the pack in 1991. Dodge supplied four newly launched GTS coupes as Pace Cars for speedway use, and one headed the field at the start of the race proudly driven by Chrysler president Bob Lutz.

The GTS needed only to add mandatory safety features to handle Pace Car duties, which included a decal kit especially designed for the race.

A comprehensive 9 piece decal kit has been produced using top brand 10 year exterior grade vinyl, colour matched and sized to exact proportions to the original 1996 Pace Cars.

The printed logos have a invisible UV and chemical guard finish, which prevents colour loss.
